Blatant childish scam SMS received 6th January 2022 suggesting 'Video was stolen / from your phone ... ' with a bogus/malicious website link.
Senders number blocked, deleted and reported.
Why has this scammers number active since early December 2021 not been deactivated or cancelled?

Getting beyond a joke lately

This was a text message that read:

Haven't opened link. I find some of the messages that appear in my spam/blocked folder to be some what amusing

Been getting a few of these lately, scammers claiming to be withholding a package or asking to click a link to track a package. I get them every day. I haven't any outstanding packages to track. I just keep blocking them. There's nothing else I seem to be able to do.

Received text message "Why my face was on this video?" Blocked & delete the message. Didn't touch the link

Scam (Phishing) text message pretending to be DHL with an update about a package delivery. A dodgy link prompts you to download an app so you can track the package. Presumably, the app would want permissions to access various things on your phone (contacts etc).
