Called and missed but didn't leave voicemail, judging from the other entries here, glad I didn't answer because they would have heard me screaming at them. WTF is the point of a Do Not Call register when no one abides by it and no punishment when they do!?!?

Said it was "Health Spotter" and they are a comparison service for health insurance.

Called about my health insurance policy (I don't have one). Aussie guy at other end. 1 minute later, I get a call from a similar number asking me about my superannuation.

I am on Do Not Call Register, and makes zero difference...spammed constantly!

Didn’t answer it. I trusted my instincts and I’m glad.
I have totally stopped answering numbers I don’t have ID contact info on. Anyone who is legitimate will leave a message, whether they be a business you ant to hear from or not, or if it’s a private caller - perhaps someone you know using a different phone - either way, if they are someone you want to hear from, or if it’s urgent, the caller will find a way to contact you and let you know it was them.
If everyone adopts this practice of not answering unknown numbers, it surely has to impact these annoying companies and individual scammers.

Called about Private Health Insurance. I'm on the do not call list, which of course makes absolutely no difference to scammers. Call was identified as Touchpoint Customer Contact Solutions.

Went to Voicemail, no message left. Number now blocked

called with an attitude, aussie accent but conversation basically went:

them: how are ya?
me: whats this in regard to?
them: good to hear your well, this is health spot...
me: not interested, don't call me back.
them: wouldn't dream of it d***head.

obviously not offering a real service with an attitude like that

Yeah like the others I’m on the Do Not Call Register but they bothered me anyway while I was driving home and didn’t leave a message. When you have unwell children you don’t know what goes through your brain when you get a call from an unknown number and they don’t leave a message.

claimed to be a health fund comparison. hung up as soon as I said I didn't want to share my name at the moment.

Called. Answered and hung up after I said hello. Looking at these reviews I guess I’m now going to be bombarded by spam callers. I normally don’t answer anyone I have not saved into my phone. Rookie move.
