I answered the call - announced myself - call ended. They're up to something so I blocked them. If I get a follow up call I'll block that also. I reckon with all the blocking I do on a day-to-day basis I'll soon be signed up as a defence player...

Exact same just happened to me. Call then text (from another number) with same wording. Looks like they are checking for a valid number... Tried calling this number number back, a beep then immediate hang up.

Called me out of the blue. I identified myself twice but got no response and then I randomly received a text from a name I don't know with a link saying Clare I meant to send you this (link). Might not be connected - might be.
