Caller: “Telstra service”

Apparently Telstra calls from a mobile number now. ‘John’ (with a heavy sub-continent accent) told me their service techs were reporting a large number of service faults on my Telstra internet connection. I asked if he was sure he’d called the correct number, he said yes. I told him I totally understood why there were connection faults, because my house wasn’t close enough to the exchange, and so we didn’t use Telstra. ‘John’ hung up at that point.
