Caller: Matched from Tinder Matched with this guy on Tinder as well. Was surprised that he was verified as he looked too sus. Gave this guy a chance since Tinder verified him. Like the others, he wanted me to commit to Bitcoin, but he wasn't aggressive about it.
I asked him for a voice message. His accent was not Italian, sounded more like someone trying to sound Italian. I grew up with people who speak the language and they most definitely do not sound like that.
I asked him to speak Italian, but he gave me a very generic translation from Google without the pronouncing some of the words correctly in the right tone.
I asked him if he could say my name while speaking Italian. He refuses, saying he wants to tease. I asked him for a video call even just to say hi. No need to speak.
Blurts out a brief sob story.
He says his English is bad because his mother tongue is Italian... But he's a business man here in Australia 😂
Then he starts making me feel bad for asking to verify that he is who he says he is. 🙄 Right, as if I'll fall for that..
The verified status on tinder may have made me complacent, but I'm not going to be guilt tripped for asking.
Do not, and I repeat, DO NOT GIVE THIS GUY MATERIAL to use against you. Always be careful on tinder! Even the verified ones!!!

Caller: Alfred I also matched this person on Tinder. 100% a scammer. Do not give this person any information. All they want is for you to trade online with them, and will get aggressive when you decline. Very sus.

Caller: Alfred I matched with this guy on tinder, I was sus from the start, it’s a dead giveaway when they want to chat on WhatsApp, I asked for his number and did this search. I’m sure asking for money would have been next
