Caller: A guy claiming he was Telstra's technician team A guy named "Alex" claimed he works for Telstra as part of their techinicians team and that my internet has gone from private to public and I'm sharing all my information. I told him I don't have internet with Telstra or home internet. He then claimed it's my phone that is sending them notifications. I said impossible as I don't have phone internet, he said I must use mobile data. I then said this is a scam as Telstra wouldn't call someone over a person's mobile data especially when I don't use it and I'm not with Telstra. He hung up. I don't think a Telstra representative would hang up on you either. I have looked up Telstra's current scams and this is one of them.
