As usual I didn't recognize the number so didn't answer, the scammers appear to be active of late.

same isssue - so any clues where the calls are coming from ? Feels like some kind of cybersec attack maybe as they all seem to hang up on pick up, once connection / handshake is completed ?

i answered call but it disconnected immediately. recorded as spam on my phone tues 01/11/22

I have had 2 calls from them 7th Nov and 9th November have now blocked the number same optus message number has been disconnected

Received call, no message left
Return call to receive an Opus message "the number you have dialled has been disconnected. I have now blocked this phone number

Missed call, no message. I blocked.

Automated call pretending to be from Amazon

Hung up in 3 rings, not calling back

Picked up, Amazon scam - hung up then they tried to call again 1 hr later

Same experience as others. Missed call and called back immediately only to receive optus message saying number was disconnected.

I accidentally answered it because I was expecting a call from work, and a recorded voice started saying that my $99 Amazon account was due to expire.. I hung up. They tried again an 1 and a 1/2 later. I let it ring out. Now blocked

Called my business number twice today. Nobody there the first time. The second time a recording claimed to be from Amazon Prime. The recording told me that my subscription was due to renew today and I would be charged $99. To cancel I had to press something, I hung up before I heard any more. I don't have Amazon Prime anymore and the phone number attached to my account was never my business number.
