I got the same text message asking how my new connection was. I have been connected to nbn for 3 years. So just ignored it. Looks like a scam.

Received this text to my husband's mobile. We had NBN connected 2 days ago but *my* mobile is the contact number for our chosen company so we were suspicious that they messaged hubby. Message deleted. But who's spying on NBN connections???

They somehow knew I had my NBN connected yesterday and wanted me to complete a survey. The message included a link to the survey that looked very dodgy and an option to Unsubscribe by texting stop to the mobile number. I'm with Optus, and personally I feel this is a leak of private information from Optus, not NBN. It would not be the first time I have suspected Optus of doing this.

Same response as all the rest. Website didnt exist. Scary as we had nbn connected 2 days ago. Both mobiles were switched off. Number that was texted from and the number given to unsubscribe both different. Thats not right in itself. Dodgy Dodgy Dodgy Dodgy

I received a text today that contained this same number and scam that everyone else is describing. I was suspicious straight away and sent an email to my nbn provider. They have opened an inquiry into it so they obviously know nothing about it. So don't call the number or click on the link. Report it to your providers.

TOTAL SCAM: - don't respond to the message or try phoning the number - if you do - they know your number is live and will continue harassing you.

When I tried to add this number to my Spam List on my android phone, it returns "Invalid Phone Number" so I am sure it is NOT legitimate.

Received a call on my mobile during the week and then had this sms sent to me a few days afterwards, they had my correct address and asked" How has your nbn been lately? Tell us and you could win a $100 visa gift card!" Click http://tol.lv/AilQFM to unsub txt STOP to 0421 268 776

I am pretty sure this is not what telecommunications companies do.

Asked how they did with my NBN connection but I'm not connected. Any text messages I receive from my provider address me by name and have the correct contact details - not some dodgy website. And they DON'T have an unsubscribe option, which I'm sure if you send a message to it, you're opening yourself up to many more scams.

I got a message stating How did we do? Please rate yesterday's NBN installation. I clicked it and the survey had spelling and grammer errors, so I assumed it is a virus. The scary thing is they somehow knew I had NBN installed yesterday.

Link provided also redirects to potentially fake and malicious NBN survey. It looks legit. http://urlquery.net/report.php?id=1490328794770

Link to a virus - not a service provider for NBN as claimed
