This 'important message from the ato' does not use the mygov url and if you are still spooked go to your mygov account using the app or their website

I got an SMS from this number and did not click on the link, but checked my in box on the MyGov site, and there was no new message so I'm assuming it's a scam

"Received an important message from ATO. Please visit: ......... to view." I didn't follow the link but to check my my.gov.au A/C but found nothing message. Scammers are getting in early for the EOFY lol

sent the ATO scam sms and the 'mum I lost my phone' scam sms from the same number on the same morning. reported to ATO and blocked!
