They keep calling me from different mobile numbers and landlines over a disputed Telstra debt that’s with the ombudsman. I called a number back one day, it rang funny and was transferred through to a lady who said she was from credit Corp. I won’t give out my personal details over the phone so that pulled her up short, after reading the above threads I won’t bother answering unknown numbers. They never leave a message, and if I do answer they usually hang up, as happened with this number

Truly, these bottom feeders have bought old debts from energy companies, payday lenders and banks credit cards for around 5% of the actual balance. Then they load their fee on top of the original amount and come after you. They have a team of people who gets bonuses if they actually connect with you and set up some type of arrangement. They will threaten you with legal action, putting stuff on your credit file etc. If you do answer, they will say they want to talk to you about a personal business matter. They will ask for full name and date of birth. As soon as they ask that, give them the bird or hang up. Make sure your socials are set correctly cause these parasites will ring your friends, neighbours, anyone linked to you. They look up Linkedin to see who connections are and call them. TURDS F@#K OFF

Debt collector Credit Corp. They "buy" debts from lenders, usually they ring on a private number and ask you to verify all your information (full name, date of birth, address, etc). I will NEVER provide my information with them as I don't have a debt with "Credit Corp". They are vultures!

Have been called multiple times. Asked for my name, DOB and address so they can "confirm my identity". WILL NEVER do that over the phone to a stranger as they wouldn't tell me anything more until they had my details. BLOCKED

Number calls pretty much the same time and including out of hours. plus a few other numbers . No caller I.D don’t answer. No message left. I google then block. However get sent a text message name. Contact no “need to continue this conversation” haven’t had a conversation. Da! Vague details “need to settle this matter”. I have read comments and agree with them all totally . I reckon they stalk you on social media because I’ve had a friend contact me that they ask them questions as to how to contact me. Private Infomation! Not freedom of infomation! So piss off!

Bank Dictatorship

Three thongs to understand ;
1. Bank write these as bad debt and claim in their tax as loss and taxpayer paid it
2. Bank then recover from insurance company as lump sum
3. sell these debts to debt collector
Analysis ;
Same debt been sold thrice, as a result debt collector do not disclose price, once they put on your credit history they are not to claim any money so ever. You are party to it and just putting a clause in tiny character does not give then permission to become ISIS terrorist

Cultures praying on the most vulnerable people in society. Too bad for them, buying debts, leaves them without a legal recourse.

They think Australian still dumb;
1. The banks offload these debts as bad debts and write it off claiming from taxpayer as they so loss on their tax
2. Banks then recover these debts from insurance company who then pay them
3. Banks then sell these debts to company like credit corp for 1 cents per dollar
4. Credit corp then expect to recover the money in full after f*cking your credit history i.e. the only product that they can sell
So, a money which does not exists in economy once written off being changed hand so many times, hence bank will not bother to work with you or when you go to repay them later they will even not take why because they make so much more from your default.
The system has f*cked and no credibility or logic.

Caller: credit corp scum bags

They called me 2 days in a row at the same time, 3:30pm. I did not answer, then I googled the number and ended up here. They then sent me an email which was very vague. No idea how they got that. It just said "can you please call Adam Sharpe on (02) 8651 5621" who is the apparent customer relationship officer from credit corp. No explanation or information about why I should call. I have no debt whatsoever, I owe no money anywhere. Just scum. Do NOT give them any personal information.
