Caller: Pretending to be eBay Starts as a call telling you your card has been charged for hundreds of $$$ and to press 1 if you didn’t make the purchase. You get connected to overseas person with strong accent. When I asked for their address and ABN, I would hear clicking keyboard obviously searching for the details, when I asked for name I was given “Alex Smith” - had to laugh. And when I said if they can hold so I can connect them with the police to verify the information provided call was ended.
