Received a text on the 15th of October claiming there was no valid E-tag dedicated on my vehicle. Good thing I double check my accounts beforehand before clicking any link. No overdue payments and also incorrect dates of detection especially that I have other forms of tracking my trips on a daily basis.

Caller: They say they are from Billing E-Toll A message form of an SMS was sent saying no valid E tag was detected and that I had to pay via a link if I didn't want to incur a penalty. As I did not use my car on the day alleged and was nowhere near a freeway or highway two weeks either side of this date, this SMS can only be a Scam. Will also report to Scam Watch

Claims my vehicle was detected with no E-tag on a particular date. There was no indication of area or vehicle registration for the bill Definitely a scam.
