Received a call from the NBN telling me that my internet connection was not secure. The hackers and attackers were coming for my information, apparently. Kept the guy talking for 15 min because there was nothing wrong with my internet security so I was asking what it's all about (could hear multiple other voices in the call centre trying to scam others). Anyway, finally relented and (almost) did what he asked, to open Chrome and type "validator" in the search bar. However, I had Firefox open and typed "validator scam" in the search bar there instead. Then we talked about what I had found in my search, which was a lot about scammers asking people to go to validator website etc. You know how the story must end for some. I was being "trasnferred" to another department due to technical issues as I was asking these things, but I gave up and hung up before that happened.
