Hang up - likely scam

Abuse the bastards whenever they call. They are NOT a charity but scammers pretending to be one. Why can't these numbers be blocked by the telcos, they must know what's going on or is it profit before principles? Appears scammers are India's main export these days...

Already asked them to stop calling.

They hung up as soon as I answered, a couple minutes prior to getting the call from them on my mobile I got one on my home phone.
Their website is: https://www.kidswithcancer.org.au/ acording to their site "We are not associated with Appco Marketing nor its suppliers/subsidiaries and never have been, never will be." so the call would most likely be a scam pretending to be the charity.
Their phone number is Free-call 1800 255 522 the only mobile number listed on their site for contact is for their Victoria office 0428 509 510.
This warning is also on their website "NB we warn all our supporters to be wary of callers who say they are collecting/selling for kids with cancer. We are the only 'Kids with Cancer Foundation' in Australia and we may call you seeking support, however we do not door knock anywhere.".

Don't want calls from this number

It was a missed call for me with no voicemail message. But I now see complaints about this number on the site. I have also read that scammers record the recipient's voice and can dub that on 'agreement to buy' by phone statements later.

I had a missed call on my cell phone from this number a couple of days ago, and a 'hang up' message on my voice mail. I have a really specific message that says "don't hit me up me for money because I won't support anyone who calls me". I hope this caller got the message because they haven't rung back. Don't get me wrong; if caller is from Kids with Cancer, I do support them, but when I BLOODY CHOOSE. I resent charities begging for money all the time as they become a right royal pain in the a** - they're as annoying as spammers. As this was a call to my cell, I've blocked this number. Suggest you just hang up or tell them to get lost.

I was getting these calls flat out a few years ago and Im on the no caller list. I told them this, and they told me that charities and the government surveys are exempt from the No caller list rule.

Recently I keep getting calls from this number and they never leave a message. I can see from above comments that it is fund raising, but my number is listed on the Do Not Call register so I am not sure how they got my number.
