Caller: Purporting to be the ‘Amazon Security Department’ Attempted to tell me my Amazon account had been compromised and someone was using it to make unauthorised purchases. That would be terrible … if I had an Amazon account.

Called me but I didn’t recognise the number so didn’t answer. I’d had a break from spammy calls for a couple of months but they’ve started up again the last few days. This was about the 5th one today ggrr

Caller: “Telstra” Saying I’d ‘had unauthorised people accessing my internet account’. It was ‘live’ - not a recording. I hung up on the thieving criminal.
