A guy with Indian accent called to say that he was from NBN reaching out because they noticed I had problems with the speed of my internet connection and they wanted to diagnose and fix it. He hung up after I asked clarifying questions.

Caller: Telstra

Female Indian accent in a loud “Telstra” call centre. Explained that they have been monitoring my routers and that they’d received multiple error messages. And did I understand? I replied yes and she rambled off into some script about resolving this, at which point we were cut off…

Very basic scam asking for my personal data.
I told him I wished he knew how much misery he was bringing into world and that he was no better that the people he hated. And that Karma is real so I hoped he could be turn his life around and become someone he could be proud of.

Caller: Amazon automated voice

Claiming to be from Amazon regarding my account, don’t have an account with them

An Indian claimed from Telstra, trying to scare me that some people from overseas are accessing my internet looking at my personal data...

Answered, sounded like call centre noise in the background, then hung up

Claimed to be from Telstra. Even though I told him I was under 18 years of age, he asked for my personal social media accounts so we could talk "casually".

Scammer. Johnny from Telstra telling me that my neighbours are illegally using my internet and the he can log into my PC and fix this problem for me. Yeah right buddy. :D
