Probably a big scam. Very similar number was from the NBN re interference and both these had almost identical CID numbers which when dialled you get the message they are not connected ..

Caller: SCAMMER When I answered, some foreign bloke from "Telstra Cyber Security" calling to alert me about.... I hung up and immediately called back "Optus advises this number is disconnected" ... SCAMMERS I wish I knew how they can get numbers that are disconnected, it's a good trick...

Claimed they were from eBay and said that an iPhone was purchased with my eBay account fraudulently and they’re trying to refund it.

Recently, I received many phone calls similar to above. I don't answer call immediately but returned call later. Normally, you will get message that they are not connected. Naturally, I blacklisted those numbers.
