Caller: scammers (Telstra) I have also received a call a while back from someone claiming to be from Telstra technical, they said that there had been suspicious internet usage on my NBN. Straight away I knew it was a scammer, I asked "how do you know that?", he said there has been multiple connections from other countries, he asked me what my Telstra account number is, I said "It must be hard for Telstra to be monitoring my Optus internet" and I started laughing and he just hung up, what a d*ckhead lol

Caller: Someone claiming to be from Telstra Someone called claiming to be from Telstra saying that there was an issue with my internet connection (I don’t have home broadband yet). They said that there was a problem with other people using my IP address and that they needed to fix it? After calling me ma’am (I’m a guy) multiple times and me correcting them multiple times, they stopped bothering and just hung up on me. Obvious scam call, and I had a call from a very similar number a few days prior.

Caller: Some Indian guy Someone from "Telstra technical" saying that someone from outside the country was using my internet for the ip address or some other sh*t. Wanted me to open safari (reassured me I could do it remotely as I was at work at the time) and type 1paddresslocation into the web bar. Sounded dodgy from start to finish so told him I didn't think it was fair dinkum call and would look into the "problem" myself when I got home. Then I hung up on him.
