never leaves a message

Phone didn't ring but got a message saying this number tried calling.

Never leave message

Received call from someone claiming to be from Telstra saying that every time we use the internet that someone else is illegally trying to use the internet.

I said "how do I know you are from Telstra?" He said "I can provide you with my Telstra employee ID" (Which he didn't. Not sure how I could check it in any case)

He then put me on to his "supervisor" who said "My colleague has explained the issue to you."

I said "How do I know you are who you say you are? The call sounds like a scam."

Other end of line goes quiet for a few seconds and then he hung up on me.

Male in busy and noisy work environment claiming to be from Telstra. Advised there is a technical issue with my internet and advised I am a main user. I am not.

I requested he speak with my husband who is the contract holder. He asked if I am in front of a computer and to type in a URL address where he can take control of my computer. When I said I am not comfortable with this, he hung up.
