Called saying they were Amazon and my phone was ordered to buy a phone. It is a scam.

Caller: Scammer I never answer the phone anymore if it's a number that is not recognized. So when this number popped up in a call, I didn't answer it but came straight to this site and looked it up. Mostly it comes up with "there are no results found" but on this occasion I found this listing with a Spam score of 40 and 4 complaints and people's experiences!!
So, many thanks to Reverse Aust for this great site.

Caller: Claimed the be from Testra Guy with foreign accent. Said they where from 'technical' support from testra. Hung up

Caller: Accented woman claiming to be from Telstra Said my Telstra service was causing errors, was operating in "public mode" which means my passwords and banking activities were exposed to others. Said she was Meghan on lev 4 242 Exhibition St Melbourne and asked me to switch my laptop on, and safari search "showmyidaddress". WHOA! This is a blatant SCAM and Telstra and regulating Government bodies need to jump on this activity ASAP.
