Message stating call was to authorise payment of $700.
Called back but number is disconnected.

they said it was ebay and will be deducted $299.99 if not me call back

Caller: Young female

I recieved a call from a mobile number so I answered it to hear an automated msg about my wifi being cut off and this is the final warning, I stayed on the line thinking wtf and the first thing I said was I don't evel have any land lines in my name lol (knowing this is already all bs and scams) she said it's not limited to landlines it also includes any data you use and your phone can be cancelled, I replied politely that I bought my phone outright and I pay a company named Amaysim for my mobile plan and that has nothing to do with you (the woman on the phone)

She continued on asking me if I check my emails

I asked her what email address they have been trying to contact

She tried to talk over me about how this Indian is going to help me but when I repeated once again "what email address do you have?" She hung up and then I called back 4 times to put her in her place and she blocked the number which is now "disconnected"

And yet all I had to do was google the mobile number to find all the proof I needed of a scam

Indian accent female advising me my Telstra internet was slow and she could help by me typing in 'my ip address' in Google and telling her my IP address.
I don't use Telstra.

I kept her going knowing she was a scammer and then when I said I couldn't see my IP address she hung up.

Over it all. I presume it was a scam. If you have been scammed before there is a whole lot of people who figure they can scam you again. Piece of the proverbial! I think that everyone who phones you should have to say their name and where and why they are phoning you.

Just called - I answered but not one there so gather it was yet another scam call - those people need lives
