They keep hanging up if I answer and keep calling every few day got to be a scam

Caller: Some foreigner

Said he wanted me to do a speed check on my computer. Bit dicey

Person said they were from NBN Co, and there was suspicious activity from my modem. They asked me to turn on my computer to activate something and then turn off my modem for 48 hrs. To reactivate it I would need to physically go into their head office in Melb. I asked him if he knew my name etc he hung up.

Automatically blocked as SPAM

Caller: Claimed to be Telstra Security Department

Rang to check up on my internet which isn’t even with Telstra. Asked how they got my number and they reverted to script. Hung up and blocked them.

Caller: ldont know

called but disconnected

Tried to return call but it had ‘call restrictions’ so I blocked it

answered the call - just a little bleep and nothing. then hung up
