Received call today from this mobile number and whilst unknown decided to answer it. The fellow appeared to be Indian from a call centre and told me he was from NBN. I challenged him and told him he was obviously not from NBN, it was an attempted scam and I would be reporting it to the relevant authorities. His response before he hung up was to tell me to “f..... off” a number of times. Tried to call back but was advised by Optus that number was incomplete or incorrect. Number blocked. Beware, definitely a scam.

Have set up hiya on my phone to block all spam and scam calls on my phone so they don't come through, most say suspected spam against the number this one says potential fraud, do not answer calls from this number and block.
