Caller: Someone claiming to be from Telstra Had someone call from this number claiming to be from Telstra wanting to discuss my internet. I said I don’t have internet with Telstra and they said that Telstra supplies the internet for my service provider (incorrect). She then tries to tell me the privacy of my network has been compromised and when I asked who she was calling for, she said ‘are you the owner of this number ending in XXX?’ When I asked her what my name was she hung up.
Was clearly in a scam call centre overseas. Lots of background calls, sounded like she was from the Philippines.
