Strange SMS recieved.

Caller: Spam

Received a text today -
“Good morning. Please attend your local police station to clear outstanding warrant of the following details. These matter wont simply disappear. FRANCIS, GREGORY NORMAN
13/03/1969
Warrant Issue Date: 12/02/24”

No links but very strange and out of ordinary,. BE AWARE. Have reported to local police and ACMA

Caller: Tynan Motors

I have just sent a response thanking one of the contributors, believing this was a scam. Instead when I tried to block it I accidentally opened it and it was a legitimate message from my local car dealer Tynan at Sutherland, with legitimate information!

This is very strange albeit it did show up as 0419 931 021. So I don't know if that makes any difference.

The feedback on this was great! I have been hesitating for several days whether to open the message, especially as it had identified my name [Hi xxxxxxx,]
So thanks again I've added it to my blocked numbers
