Caller: Asian lady

Asian operator claimed to be from the Commonwealth Bank. I stated I will call into my branch. Said not to worry about the call. time 4.40p.m. Tuesday afternoon. Tried number and was answered as Commonwealth Bank. Same lady.

Caller: Linda from CBA

Claimed to be from the Commonwealth Bank but wouldn't tell me what it was about till I gave her my details. I hung up. Probably a scam. The Commonwealth Bank has never rung me before.

Said from Commonweath Bank. Would not elaborate unless I told her everything about me. Very strange lady. Just hang up.

Do not give any info.
Had my name and phone number obviously.
Said they were from Comm bank, wanted info but wouldn't tell me what was exactly the problem, I didn't give them anything. They even said they could send a message via the banking app??
I declined and hung up to ring the bank directly.
So not sure what would have happen if I'd said ok to that.

Very suspicious - thirty years with the bank, no calls. Maybe they've changed their approach?

Caller: Claimed to be Linda from CBA

claimed to be form CBA and her name is Linda. Then I called back later on this number and ask her full name but she refused and asked which CBA branch or office she is from but she refused to say. It sound and smells like SCAM.

Caller: Commonwealth Bank???

Had two calls from this number claiming to be Commonwealth Bank. Probable scam.
If from Bank background exceedingly quiet.
