Got this call on my Private landline today.
Indian accent scammer but based here in Australia (clear background, no pauses at start). Starts off saying he's ringing around wanting to find out from 'Christians' how they're coping with Covid in your area.
'So how are you coping?' he asked me.
I asked him what my name is and he had no idea!
I asked where he got my number and he said from a phone book.
My Private number is a recycled number which unbeknown to us was a public number from a phone book! A bloody Telstra stuff up from a few years ago.
I told him to remove my number (he probably wont!) from his list and to never ring me again.
