Apparently I have a book on order that is ready to collect from Collins bookstores orange and if I send my surname they'll sort it out for me. What a joke!

Unknown an no text message left.Based on the above comments I have blocked the number

Called my 92 year old father-in-law saying that he had an appointment with his oncologist in the next day or so, and to reply Y or N. We told him to ignore it completely.
We rang the oncologist's rooms to clarify that there was no such appointment scheduled. Then we rang this number back ang got a recorded messgae from Telstra to say that the number was "either switched off or not in a mobile area". If you reply they will engage with you and then try to get money from you.

SCAM Txt message saying had funds for a relative

The Randwick Vaccination Clinic has been given your child's name from the treating medical team to prioritise for a COVID-19 Pfizer vaccination.

If they have not received one dose yet and would like to arrange a COVID vaccine please respond 'YES' to this text message and one of our vaccination team will contact you to make a booking.

Caller: NAB SCAM

Text recd saying my account will be locked for suspect activity. To unblock I had to go to www.nabadd.com. I sent text back laughing. I then recd another text the day after that they were not impressed with my reply and that they will now block my acct. I sent text back laughing again. ( I don’t have a NAB acct.)
