Caller: “Commonwealth Bank” Claimed they were from Commonwealth Bank. Second time I’ve received a phone call from this scam and a similar number this week. Calling about a transaction made of $400 and confirming if it was me. I said I’m not sure. They asked if I shared the bank account with anyone else and I said I liked to share my bank details with random people calling from mobile phone numbers, so could that be it?! Then he asked for my WhatsApp details. When I queried what bank would use WhatsApp he said he wanted to “chill with me”. Too creepy.
