Caller: Supposedly NAB Supposedly NAB, saying I was transferring $3200 to Mohammed Khan. It then gave me a landline number (03) 7035 3985 to call. Ignored it and reported it to the NAB Reporting line

Caller: 02418927502 Had message from this number which seems to be legitimate NAB number going back years. “518930 is your code to login to internet banking. Don't share this code with anyone not even Nab, if you did not request this, call (03) 9125 3722”. Called number and heard legitimate NAB preamble and music but very quickly got onto a “ security” man who wanted my details. Sure it was a scam but disturbing that the number seemed to be NAB’s in the past.

Said it was from NAB with the code to log into my account and a number to call if I hadn't requested the log in. Pity I don't have an NAB account. Bloody scamming thieves.

SCAMMERS!!! I was sent an SMS supposedly from NAB,"unable to ctc via email trying to send you a statement". and to update details. RED FLAGS: First: I am addressed as hi, which is a big red flag as you always get addressed by your first name,if it's a genuine SMS, which obviously they don't have. Second: I get my statements via Internet banking so no need for an email.! Will be reporting to NAB today.

This is not NAB. I just received a text from them within minutes of talking to NAB about a problem through their messaging in their app. I asked the support person who checked and said that nothing was sent to my number by NAB. It's a scam, though I'm not sure how as it didn't give me a link or ask me to do anything with their code.

Caller: NAB NO CALLER ID. NAB always call me from a landline in Victoria & the number displays. Silence upon answering the call. Finally ID’d themselves, umming & hanging, stumbling over reason for call. I verified the information they provided. Then the red flags……..long delays & apologies for the system being a bit slow in opening my profile. I’ve been expecting a call, but usually NAB will send you an SMS text message after verifying ID, before they continue with the call, this did not happen. I asked for an SMS to be sent, so I could verify the call was from NAB. More fumbling, but received text message from this number. I thanked him for the text, then he proceeded to ask how I intend on proceeding. Calls from NAB have always been professional & exactly the same in procedure, this did not seem like it was NAB. My other thought, is that this quite possibly could have been a trainee & had a tenured specialist, shadowing them, hence the delays. I work for a call centre as a coach/mentor & the fumbling & delays, are so typical of a new trainee. I was placed on hold while he looked up a few details. That’s when I ended up here, disconnected the call & submitted my feedback. I’ve also reported the number & feedback to NAB.
