Said they were from Telstra and wanted to reduce my bill for the next 6 months. Sent me a verification code and asked me to read it out and then asked for my email address. I hung up and they immediately rang back and angrily asked why I had hung up. I rang Telstra direct and they confirmed it was a scam and that they would not ring me and claim to reduce my bill. The female foreign accent was a dead give away.

Telstra scammer. The said I was eligible for a 60% reduction in my phone bill.
