Have opted out and blocked number several times but still receive messages. When I went online to contact the company directly I have found that their phone system is set on a continuous ring recording, so no one will answer your call. I assume this is due to numerous complaints.

Would posting a full dox with sensitive personal info of these immoral theens legal or is it best I just hang back, mean selling personal data between companies is legal though I doubt sharing there info is so I'll keep it to myself and just send a text to them if they keep spamming me. Though really does **** me.

They have sent me emails on numerous occasions. The very 1st time I received an email from them I followed their instruction and that was to TEXT STOP to unsubscribe. I kept on receiving emails so I replied to their email complaining to them that I still wasn't unsubscribe and asked why am I still receiving their unwanted emails especially when I don't even drink any type of wines🍾!

They ignored my email and I am still receiving the same emails .. one came through again today even though I wrote ... 'STOP' 🤚 🛑!

Can someone please do something about this most probably company which doesn't exist as I am sick and tired of receiving spam calls and emails everyday from others as well!

Can someone please put a stop to these ignorant spammers immediately!

Received text message 2/3/2021 from this number. It says Oak Road, offering me discounted wine. Don't know how they got my number, annoying spam company. It gives you the option to text STOP but when you do the message comes back undelivered so just block them instead.

Harrassing Oak Road SMS. I block them and they still get through the next day. How can someone even operate like this via Telstra. that is, they get special exemption from being blocked? I will call the 03 number and try that approach. then start looking into why I can block these dirty grubs

Such a dodgy setup. Unsolicited text messages with no way to opt out! It just reeks of scam. Pretty sure you cannot successfully block them as this number is the “reply” one. Texting STOP to this number fails to send. There must be a number associated with the original txt but I cannot see it. Do not click on the “bit.ly...” web link as that can hide anything. Even if they do sell wine my bet is your card details are their biggest seller on the dark web. From what I read here this has been going on a while. Our government enforcers are failing us. These guys need to be taught a lesson.

I never visited their website, let alone heard of this company until i randomly received a spam of text messages from them. I constantly sent "STOP" but it did absolutely nothing and I even tried to block them, yet they won't stop. I'm not the slightest bit interested and I just want them to stop!

I keep receiving spam text messages from this mob of Schisters; despite the fact that I have never bought a thing from them. Tried blocking them to no avail. They show an address ion Camberwell at 173 Canterbury Road Canterbury 3126 (no phone number) however; when I checked the ASIC records and found an ABN: 24 613 076 734 registered to a Business Entity named THE WINE GROUP PTY LTD, that has two Business Names: Oak Road Estate and TOP DROP WINES. Both these businesses were active as at 20 February 2020. Oak Road and Top Drop Wines also have an ACN: 613 076 734; and the Victorian Business is situated not at 173 Canterbury Road but at 357 - 367 Canterbury Road, Canterbury. Phone: (03) 8551 3300. I noted that the Registered Office for this mob of Schisters is situated at following address: Roy SPAGNOLO & ASSOCIATES, 193 Yambil Street, Griffith. NSW 2680. Phone (02) 6964 4400. They are listed as Roy Spagnolo & Associates, business advisors & accountants. Let us all bombard these Schisters and see how they like their phones tied jus with complaints. Check out the address at 357 - 367 Canterbury Road, Canterbury, and then check out Roy Spangolo's address at 193 Yambil Street, Griffith. NSW. They look quite opulent. Lets see what ASIC has to say on Monday.

Text me almost every day about supposed wine deals. I have never signed up to this winery or given them my phone number.
Incredibly annoying.

i think everyone who is getting this spam should leave negative reviews for the company via google stating that you are being harassed by them. it might actually get their attention and get them to stop.

Thanks for the info, what you say makes sense, I will start with the telco and see if I can get Telstra to stop it.

Have you had any luck with your telco stopping it ?

I have just reported this with Telstra on their website, Report Misuse Of Service page. After submitting their page just advises "Thank you for reporting, our team will look into it and take action as appropriate, We don't respond directly to all submissions".

Will have to wait and see if my report was worthy of a response. And if the texts keep happening.

Make Con-artist aged around his early 50s texting me to invest my money into his wine business based in country Victoria. He uses fake name, different mobile SIM card numbers, fake email addresses so he doesn’t get caught. There is no wine business under that name he texted us.. we google it.

"Oak Road" SMS with number hidden - Same situation as everyone else here - unsolicited - except I think I know how my number was passed to "Oak Road" and "Top Drop"
1. Qantas Frequent Flyer scheme - the card conditions ask that you agree that your details will be shared with their affiliates. Soon after signing up I started to recieve the Qantas wine Emails. Then soon after the Oak Road wines sms texts then Top Drop wines sms texts. Is there a link here? Qantas havn't replied to my enquiry of 10 days ago so.............
2. I contacted the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman (TIO) The helpful person who answered asked me to approach my Telco (Telstra) and request a block on both the spammers numbers. He also told me that if my telco refused the TIO would take action against Telstra to enforce this.
So there you have it. After all its the Telcos who are really responsible for the hidden number broadcast sms system and they charge these people for the service - make them stop. If they dont report them to the TIO - Ph. 1800 062 058
The TIO is funded by the telcos and has the power to fine its members like Optus or Telstra or TPG-Vodafone if they fail to block the number within a reasonable period

Same story as most people. I have never heard of this company, never purchased from them. Have received 2 txts in the last 5 days. No way to block the sender from my phone. No way to opt out by replying to the txt (they provide a phone number for this but I don't trust this company or know if any costs are involved). Reported to ACMA, who said they will investigate if they get enough complaints. So, please also report them if you are getting spammed and together, we can stop this unethical company.
