Not sure who's number this be but according to every comment I read I am inclined to believe this is a legitimate Telstra smsc number. Happy hacking all the paranoid freaks.

This number is not a scam, fraudulent or ANYTHING untoward. This is Telstra's "SMSC" number and has been since SMS was introduced 30+ years ago. This number is how your phone sends text messages to other individuals, although it usually remains hidden and undiscovered by most users.

Just found this in my advanced settings as smsc 0418 706 700 wtf is it

Thank you for your help I really appreciate it so much because that what has happened to me and in the name of Jesus's wouldn't allow that to the one's that suffering them the world be more beautiful if they never did this but they got a lot of time on there hands it's a shame

This number does not say its a telstra text message service number anywhere online on any telstra websites. Odd

I have the same problem with this number for 3 years and its still happens now so I decided to not have a phone I did put up a comment before this comment and I can't find it so I have to do it again, I found 3 phone number on my phone that I don't know about and its adjusted to my phone on my google time line or my number. Its been a long time for this person to be on my phone and this is my phone number 7 for in 3 years lots of emails change and password and lots of phone call to apple and visit the branch in west field Chermside so many times. I have email google for a complain but everytime I email from my phone it never go through.

This year when I found this number on my phone it makes sense what its been happening on the last 2 years and try to call the number but never connect. My experience in things that is happening on your phone with this number in it is so unreal. I have found out that I have 2 profile on my page and my profile its always sync and its always comes up on my settings that is on Quick share and everytime I change them its always goes back to the same settings and I found out about 4 months ago or 3 months ago that I'm also on Accibility setting as well so I was very disappointed and even when I delete them all its still happening so it is so hard for me.

I have decided to just move on and try another way so this number that I found on my phone won't stress me out or even in my phone, I have spend a lots of time on my phone even my friends have a look at my phone and they can believe how it is set it up and 2 profile it one account in one phone same name same colour profile but 2 different account.

I never come across in someone like this and its been 3 years trying to let him know that I had enough of his abuse and I don't like what his doing but I don't know how he thinks about himself, What I do know about this guy for the 3 years past that his after a thew thing at the same time his playing with you like its funny. For him to have your number is he scan his phone to your phone when you about 5 meters away so the way is someone gave him your number so this is the part its gonna freck you is his got the gear to use as the people you that works for samsung or apple and I'm talking about the smart tuto and laptop or even a computer and while you trying to set things up he can keep you busy on one page but his ahead of you set up himself on the same profile as you and at the same time he. Already set up your keyboard on your phone to steal your info like password so thats why you log in and then after 1 hour you log in again the system tell you its a wrong password because his steel got your page and set up himself, this guy he knows what his doing and also he wants your contact on your phone and trust me he can see everything inside your phone, he can download new app set it up on your phone and he will control your your phone how he wanted.I cant remember how many email I have even my apple ID I get even my password. I aways wonder what he wants and why doing it .I found 2 profile on my phone one its mind and the other one he created himself look actually the same so it very hard to deal with this guy for me he doesn't know where the boundary is but i like to meet himself one day just to let him know how frustrating I was at time and hard to do other stuff because his got time to play with you or whatever but I'm not I things to do and I'm talking about right now so I will let you guys know when you type on the keyboard he can communicate with you on the keyboard or on the search area or in the picture so he does know what his doing.

I have had many phones and new numbers compromised over the last four years with this number listed as SMSC on my phone.
After reading some of the comments here is this the government Telstra or just some dodgy people still continuing to disrupt my life and steal from me cause havoc for my life and future...

Class 0 message sms delete all stored msgs from your phone, About 30 times in the last two days, annoying

I've been a victim of hacking for years... The group of 'man' (boys) abuse every single naive women and men from who they can threat, use, abuse, sell... and sadisticaly laugh at. Aaaand they don't think they are doing anything wrong afterall you are the 'dumbass' not realising they are doing it to you as they lack empathy, courage, balls, a heart... in a nutshell, they are so sh*tty that if they don't lie to get money and sex they wouldn't have anything in this life and they help each other because they don't even like themselves... most can't even be alone as they go straight into depression and suicidal ideation. Worse is that they unfortunately can't control themselves and consider that doing what they do makes them feel 'powerful'... not growing up, procrastinating, using and hurting people...
Today... I give up... the same way they don't see any sense in being humble, I can't make sense of why they would choose to acquire so many diseases (yes, living on a fight or flight state destroys them and although they consider themselves 'emotionless' they are more sensitive than the sensitive ppl they use and abuse... just touch their money, mess up their hair or make a comment on their stained, ridiculous clothes or the way they talk... haha... you'll witness an explosion... jk... really, don't do it or you'll have a vivid reminder of your high school worst bully).
Optus hacked? Telstra and Vodafone have been hacked years ago... wake up...

Received SMS "Delete ALL Stored messages from your phone!" 2x late last night then 1 early this morning.
