Caller: Green Solar - Scammers

Warning - This is a scam... Received a call from 0418 214 397 claiming they were from Green Solar and wanted to see if I was eligible for a government solar rebate. They knew my first name but then there was a list of phishing questions. I let him go on with his spiel until I told him he was a scammer and he got irate... Quite funny really but beware, these guys are scammers. It looks like this number is on the Telstra network. Telstra please shut this number down.

Suspect a telemarketer and hung up.

Currently getting 6 weeks of house renovations done so I thought maybe it was a builder calling.

I called back 4 times and didn't right went straight to "leave a 10 second message and we will send this as a text"
So I thought google could shed some light ! THANK GOD I DID.

I did not pick up... they caller did not leave a message so assume a spam call.

Rang at 1930hrs on the 4 th of February.

Caller: Man with Chinese accent

Received the call at 1pm. Greeted me by name. Called asking whether I had solar panels at my place and whether I was the home owner.

Indian telemarketers selling solar rebates. Have tried to con me twice this week. Told him he was bringing shame to his family (which all these off shore telemarketers hate with a passion) and he got very irate and hung up.

Stays silent for a moment then hangs up

the call came in just before 5pm went for 13 seconds - no one talked except for a recorded female voice saying 'goodbye'

Called my work mobile and in a very slow Indian accent asked if I had solar panels on my roof. Told him he called my work phone and asked how did he get this number, promptly hung up on me.

This gentleman just called me. The aforementioned chatter in the background. I picked up and asked for a name. He ignored my question and used a name, not mine, which I use on gmail only. How sad to be forced to lie in order to avoid this type of invasive behaviour...

I said "I already own an island, don't call back."

Suspicious, Indian-accented man knew my name and asked about solar power rebates and my property. Involved a couple of non-sense questions before I hung up. Background call chatter was heard. Highly suspicious.

Caller: Patrick

Indian telemarketer called Patrick offering to check eligibility for government solar rebate. Apparently not trying to sell anything just wanted to send somebody out for an assessment. When I said I was not interested in Solar at this time, on the third time he abruptly and rudely hung up. Zero stars.

Annoying idiots, you answer the call & it hangs up. You call back & no one answers after 5:00 pm just another scammer. Just block these idiots

Confirmed telemarketer. Called on 29/01/2019 on the number 0418 214 397. Ignore, waste of time.

i think it was spam/scam.
when caller doesn't leave a message pretty suspect.

I picked up the call, a guy asking if I had solar panels on my roof or not. Didn't continue the conversation
