Pretended to be Telstra, asked for code sent to me to get discount on my bills. Code was for Microsoft account password reset. I don't think so

Pretended to be Optus. Wanted to SMS me and get me to reply to it so I got a 50% discount off my bill. Yeah, sure. I hung up. Did not ask me to confirm who I was.
