Caller: David Wilson From “Amazon” This was someone claiming to be from Amazon who was going to save me from suddenly being charged $99 by way of automatic renewal. It was an automated message at the beginning stating that I would be charged if I didn’t press 1 to continue through to a customer service rep. My Amazon Prime membership was due in the next couple of days, so at first I panicked & clicked through. Thankfully I didn’t have time to go through the process & told him to call back later, when I finally had time to think about the fact that my membership is monthly, so could never be $99!! Don’t get scammed by this person!
