He just offered to buy my boat, I'm in NSW and he is "in the mines in WA"....

Nigel William Just tried to purchase our Motorhome sight unseen also said he is on a remote mine site in WA & cannot pay his freight fee to a 3rd party agent to collect so added this to his ‘fake’ PayPal payment and requested that we pay it. In the meantime the PayPal confirmation is fake. I hope no-one has galled for this!

Thank you for these posts this fraudster tried to buy my car and the email did look suspicious, doing my research and yes fraudster. Wanted my PayPal details and wanted to send a courier without inspection, no haggling on price. Not stealing my car!

Man spoke very quickly and accent sounded american , claimed to be a business advancement company and wanted to speak to the owner.

Just tried to con me about a camper I have listed. Apparently resides in WA on a remote mine site with no phone connect and will organise a courier once I give him my bank details. Yeah right mate. Not gunna happen.

Kinda weird seeing so many different stories from this number. He called our business number and upon saying our business name, he was like opps sorry I was after Anna.

We do not sell any vehicle whats so ever...

missed at first, tried to call back but the number got disconnected and switched off

Was selling a ute on just 4x4 scamed me for 7000 trying everything to recover my money claimed he was in between moving from Australia to UK which was why he was selling a ute that was obviously too good to be true.

This guy messaged me after I posted my car for sale and told me he was interested but it did sound very suss where he only wanted to communicate via email and did not even negotiate price. Only asked me to send my paypal or account details to buy the car. He said he had no mobile connection due to being in WA. When I asked for his number then he provided this mobile number. He was going with a name Peter and gave me email address kgts.ua @ gmail.com

Please be careful and do not send people your details.

Bogus caller - since I’ve had a gumtree listing I’ve been receiving phone calls like this - this one pretended to be from Google and was very rude.

I rang back the number 0417 459 817 once but got disconnected

Called asking to speak to business owner, was told they weren't available and hung up.

He wants to sell me add words then I said I want to pay per click, we can do that too he said.

Caller: credit card fraud

This person used my card and postal address but used their own name and telephone number for jewellery in Melbourne. They provided an email: jarednm_edthiede @ yahoo.com. They also made iTunes purchase. I don't know how they got hold ofmy card but whoever, this person is it appears they may have a habit of fraud and stealing. They provided the above contact number
