Caller: Claimed to be Services Australia Tax File Number Scam Alert!
Do NOT give them ANY information, despite the threatening message that states that you are being taken to court over a serious taxation investigation!
The woman HUNG UP on me when I assertively said "who the hell are you and what are you talking about, I haven't done anything illegal and I demand to know what the hell this is about before I tell you who I am" that's when she hung up on me.
I would assume that the legitimate Services Australia would know, before calling, who I was, if the call was about a serious legal matter and I would assume that they would be calling from either a landline number or a 1300 number NOT a mobile number!
PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THIS INTIMIDATING SCAM!
