Caller: Allegedly from amazon prime video

Initially Recorded message advising they are debiting my account $99 for renewal, or to cancel account press 1. Followed instructions and pressed 1. Spoke to female (Indian accent) asking me to go online then transferred to supervisor. Spoke to male with same accent who was giving me a web site to go to. I became suspicious and challenged him. He became verbally aggressive, so I challenged him again he suggested my account had been hacked. I then realized the prime video account is not in my name although bank details are. I asked for details of the account. Again he became verbally aggressive and again I challenged him. He then hung up.

Caller: Said they were compensation lawyers

Had an Indian lady tell me she was calling from compensation lawyers, second call in two days (different numbers) from Indian speaking people who have my name, number and email address.

Caller: Supposedly Amazon Prime

Received call saying my account was going to be charged $99, I dialled 1 spoke to an Indian gent who said there was suspicious activity on my account. I knew immediately it was a scam so just hung up.

Scam , very dodgy

Caller: Someone with strong Asian/Indian accent

Caller said she is from Telstra (obviously not); saying I had internet problem.

I missed the call and they didn’t leave a message, but my phone gave me a “Warning: Suspicious Calling Pattern” message. I get dozens of scam/spam calls and this is the first time it’s ever given this kind of warning, so you know it’s bad.

It’s still in use by scammers as of 05/05/25

Man with Indian accent claiming to be Telstra internet protocol department, can hear many call center workers in the background.

Caller: Lady

‘Garbled speaking, then a voice saying’Can you hear me?’. They want you to say ‘Yes’ but I said’I can hear you’ , so they hung up.

Come up on my phone as “WARNING SUSPICIOUS CALLING PATTERN

Said they were the commonwealth bank

Scam call concerning urgent immigration issue, press one for Chinese, two for English etc.

Called to my mobile. It says number from “Australia”. (When it’s supposed to show state (NSW, QLD, etc). It’s still a scam number in 2025.

AI Voice telling me my phone will be disconnected within two hours and to press 1 for more information. Scam

Caller: said she as from department of home affairs

definitely a scam

Received scam automated call 0416 856 363

Robot saying this was a final call attempt from the immigration department and to press 1 for English or 2 for Chinese. Did not press anything so call ended.

From a 3rd Party Insurance company. Told them to piss off, they responded this is not a scam. Told me I had had a car accident etc. Scamming scumbags.

No doubt that this scam calls are asociated with secret servise and as soon as they do not hear you phone active they try to call. I am testing this tipe of calls by leaving my phone away anatended during day time and it happens every time 100%sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This number appeared on my phone today so it is still being used. No message left. I will block it.
