I received an SMS message from this number with a mispelled word, which triggered my scam-alert senses. The message purported to come from AusPost and "await redirection." (sic) It asked me to "update your info" via a https:// ... bit.ly code. I did not access that link. Instead I reported it directly to Scam Watch. It's a common scam attempting to gain personal information in order to inflict more convincing scams on the victims. Always contact businesses via their website, and if still in doubt, share your concerns with a trusted friend/family member before clicking on any links. Over $21 million was stolen by scammers from Australians in $2022 - probably a lot more, as people do not always report losses to these fraudsters.
