Caller: Maybe an insurance company

I got a call as I was involved in a car accident and they asked if I had insurance, I said no then they hung up

Called me about two weeks after I was involved in a car accident claiming to represent the other party and tried to imply I owed them money. Told them to contact my insurance and they claimed I had no insurance which is false. Wound up the phone call when they realized I would not give them any details.

Caller: Uber replacement vehicle services

Car accident occurred whilst driving Uber. Call was from Uber's accident replacement vehicle services.

Tries to say was calling from Uber about an accident I’d been in, asked for my claim number. I knew it was a scam.

Caller: Pretending to be UBER

I received a call regarding a vehicle incident I was aware of from these scammers claiming to be UBER. They called asking for an insurance claim number. They threatened me that I was liable for a third party's car hire. I told them to put it through their client insurance and they wound the conversation up.

Caller: Rideshare

It's Rideshare at Harbourfield, Sydney, when you car is being repaired and covered under an insurance company, like NRMA or AAMI, you can contact them to hire a replacement car ( like for like) to drive uptown 14 days.

Called me from an insurance company on behalf of the person I got into an accident with however just asked for my home address then hung up
