Likely to be a scam to collect credit card details; claim of non-payment of a ‘overdue’ amount. Txt received 20 Dec 2022 @3:22am (WST)
Txt says, verbatim:
“Important note: If the overdue record is too long, it may affect credit [hyperlink removed] for more information”
The hyperlink implies/suggests toll link costs i.e. linkfecm is used.

Do not click on the link provided; if it smells like a scam, then it is a scam

This number texted me: "Important notice: Overdue time is too long, which may affect credit" plus a link I didn't click on. Clearly a scammer. I owe nothing to anyone and this is typically vague. Scammer does not have my name and offers no explanation of the supposed debt or to whom it is owed. Ignore any requests from this number. (N.B. When number is prefixed with +61 as this was, it makes me suspicious that it comes from overseas. Can anyone tell me if this is correct?)
