Caller: Did not identify themselves personally , but said Westpac Credit Card centre A female Asian/Philippine sounding caller, stated they were from Westpac Credit card centre and had identified a potential fraudulent purchase attempt of $600 on my VISA card. They wanted my card number to verify that the card was mine, and sounded authentic. I asked them to give me last 4 digits of my card, but they just started fobbing me off and then I hung up as it all sounded unlikely.
