Caller: Some chinese spammers Got the same text, and reported them through my phone service.
Told my partner what I did and he decided he wanted to take it several steps further. He's a computer wizz, so he created a program that went through and changed all the information (for about 900 people) that they had received so far to fake information. Reported them to their server cloud and got their protection removed, though the website still ran. He then sent a notice to the Australian service that deals with these spammers and gave them all the information he could on them, including their general location.
The website was shut down within half an hour after that.
That doesn't mean they can't start up again with a new website, so please be careful.
If auspost ever ask you for money, it isn't auspost. Best to report them to get them shut down as fast as possible. Unfortunately my partner only helped 900 of the roughly 23,000 he saw, but that's 900 people who won't loose any money.
