Received a txt from this number about not paying a toll and I don’t even drive! When will the spam stop!!!!!

SMS Message this morning at 6:22am: “ ROADS NOTICE - As we did not detect a valid E-tag, your payment on the trip on 10/09/22 was unpaid. Settle up now.” Then a link to click on. Since I neither have a car or an E-tag it’s pretty impossible for me to owe a ‘roads notice’. But you have to give them a brownie point for being up early scamming people… PLEASE PEOPLE DO NOT CLICK ON THESE LINKS IN THESE MESSAGES. SERVICE NSW DOES NOT SEND TEXT MESSAGES FOR UNPAID TOLLS. THEY SEND THEM IN PAPER FORM TO THE ADDRESS FOR THE TAG OR TO THE ADDRESS ON YOUR LICENCE. I USED TO GET THEM IN THE MAIL ALL THE TIME WHERE I WORKED WHEN WE HAD A FLEET OF DRIVERS. I ALSO GET SCAM SMS MESSAGES FROM LINKT ABOUT UNPAID TOLLS. DO NOT CLICK ON THEM. BLOCK THEM ON YOUR PHONES. You can’t tell me other telcos data hasn’t been hacked, especially Telstra. I switched from Vodafone to Boost (who is via Telstra network). I never got scam sms from Vodafone. Since I switched I get at least 2 scam sms messages a day. They have to be stopped somehow.
