Spam caller - nuisance

Have repeatedly asked them to stop calling me and remove my number from their list. They still keep on going.

“Saying do I own a home or pay a mortgage ?If so I will be eligible for huge free gov rebate”
I knew then it was bullsh*t

SCAM

Information Australia, I just hung up straightaway, they usually ramble on about income tax benefits, tax deduction, then say they have someone in the area, and they can arrange a time to come and see you. Heard it all before, and its all BS.
Just do as I did, hang up, my greatest pleasure, just another way of saying FO.

I did not answer the call. Whoever called didn't leave a message and when I called back from a land line the message was that the number has an incoming call restriction. So they can call us whenever they want to but we can't call them back! So annoying - why this isn't illegal is beyond me. Blocked.

Took the call by mistake and government incentive scam

Total scam. They dont have a website, arent registered and you cannot call their number. Trying to get information from you regarding a free rebate from Government, yet they dont know anything about the free rebate.

Rings, I gather gets your name and then passes to one of their other idiot colleagues to call you and try to sell some crap.. so they can say Hiiiiiii just me!

Information Australia, the guy on the phone said. Looked on up the ASIC website to find out who they are. It's just a business name not even a registered company. Probably a spam caller.

They hung up on me as soon as I said the government should write me a letter..
