I had the same phone call today and said his name was Allan Fitzgerald. This person also spoke to me as if he knew me. He also asked if I wanted to make extra money and was trying to push a health program onto me. He spoke about being involved with Rugby League so I'm thinking he was looking at my Facebook page. Asked what my husband and I did for a living.

Overly friendly gentleman called at 4:15pm calling me by full name and claiming to be Alan Fitzgerald. He said that he obtained my number from Josh Snow who did some house washing or pressure washing for me in Brisbane. This isn’t true as I’ve never undertaken such activities. But it was enough to make me give information that I shouldn’t have such as ‘are you sure it wasn’t my mother’. It was a ridiculously convoluted spiel about bio health industry and some business opportunity if I am interested. He’s a gifted speaker and could charm most people into giving conversational info that you may regret later. Sold him back a tall story but regret not realising it was a spam/fraud type call.

I provided details earlier on a call received 5/9/2023 at 4:15pm by an overly friendly gentleman named Alan Fitzgerald. He talks with you as though he’s a long lost friend. Aside from attempting to ‘sell’ me a business opportunity and source information during the call, I am struck by the name he called me. There are very few people that know me by the name he used and it has occurred to me that he could only have obtained this from a data breach with either DocuSign or a utility company in Qld. I use a different name for Google reviews, FB etc. so I’m very surprised at the use of my legal name which is only used in several places.

Called as if he knew us and talked about an accident in our car (we didn't have an accident) Then asked if wanted to make extra money. My husband unknowingly told him some confidential information. His name is Allan Fitzgerald
