Supposedly the Australian Federal Police, wanted my name, medicare number and tax file number to verify who I was and when I wouldn't supply any of this told me to expect the Australian Federal Police within the hour to arrest me.

Caller: my financial institute Recorded message stating that my account is going to be closed because of fraudulent activity, Press 1 for my information. Straight through to a call centre wanting my name, medicare, tax file number. I said as I wasn't an Australian resident I didn't have any of those and the operator informed that the Australian Federal Police will be around to arrest me...
