Caller: Texted - apparently my ‘child’

Scam. Pretending to be my child asking for me to transfer them money

I don’t know who this is but they told me they were my child & had changed their number so I could delete the old one.

Then a few months later they txts again asking for money. I flipped it on them & told them my credit card had been compromised & that I needed them to help me with $160 for a few days. Interesting they have gone quiet now.

I’m going to respond & lay it on thick. With everything I have done for you in your lifetime & I have not once asked you for any help & now your ignoring your own mother. Your dead to me. f*ck off & get a real job you little scumbag.

2 text messages in 2 days, knew it was a scam as my daughter doesn’t live here! Deleted message

Caller: some one pretending to be my child

Letting me know that their phone number had changed, followed by a further txt 2 hours later informing me they needed help.no further correspondence

This is a scam. Don't respond or change your children's number on your phone.

Nobody told me I had a son or daughter 😂😂😂. How did this happen ?

Pretending to be my child and having a new number.
Rang number with no answer.
