scam SMS about being locked out of an account with a bank I do not use

Caller: Text message from 0412 156 620

Pretending to be from Optus stating that payment for phone service failed so wanting to confirm details regarding Direct Debit arrangement. Obviously wanting bank account details.
Why can't their phone number be disconnected and the scammer prosecuted for fraud?

Said it was Optus - Important message about my payment. I checked the Optus app NOT THE LINK. No issues so I ignored the message and deleted

Text supposedly from the security team of a bank I do not use telling me my internet security access has been suspended due to a suspicious logon attempt...grubs include a link to go to.

two messages claiming to be from two different banks I dont use and suspending accounts I dont have

Scam sms trying to get me to click a link to log into my bank due to a supposed security risk. Absolute BS.
